ANNUAL PICNIC MEETING
Approximately 50 attended the picnic meeting and feasted on brisket, pork, pasta salad and potato salad. Thanks to Dave Baker, Vern Hay, George Forester, and others who worked to make it a big success. The picnic provided a good opportunity to meet and get better acquainted with our lake neighbors.

Thank you to out-going chairman Buck Hayes and secretary Peggy Wygle. Both have done an outstanding job in two very difficult roles. Thanks for all your time and energy!

ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY BOAT PARADE

Saturday – July 2nd meet at 7:15 at the dam

Come, join us. Celebrate this great nation by decorating your boat. Parade together around the City Lake. Judges will be watching so put on your best show.

~First place wins $100.00 Cash~

Also, many great runner up prizes donated y Council Grove businesses. To be judged, pick up a number for your oat at the Marina or B-35. Boats do not have to be decorated to be in the parade. We’re trying to break our record of 42 boats in the 2001 parade, so come join in, decorated or not. Celebrate a great nation.
