After members had a meal of Barbecued Brisket and pork sandwiches, pasta and potato salads, chips and cookies furnished by the Lake Association, President Buck Hays called the meeting to order. Buck thanked Dave Baker, Vern Hay, Andy Hutter, and George Forrester for arranging for the meal. He thanked Bill Swofford for continuing to mow along Lake Road. Buck read the names of the nominated officers and called for nominations from the floor. There being none, he called for a vote. The following slate was elected.
Buck Hays then turned the meeting over to the new president. President Dave Baker welcomed City Councilman J. D. Jones, Jr. A question concerning the annual boat regatta originated from the floor. After brief discussion, no chairman was named, but July 2, 2005, was set as the date. Roland Brees announced that Jerry Brees would volunteer as Good Will Chairman and asked that anyone who knows about a need for action should please notify Jerry.
