Master Plan Implementation
(printable view)

May 10, 2006

Mr. John White
Greater Morris County Development Corporation
Farmers and Drovers Bank
201 W. Main
Council Grove, KS 66846

Dear John:

Let me thank you for your invitation to talk to the Development Corporation Board of Directors. If we are successful in implementing much of the Council Grove City Lake Master Plan, the entire region will benefit economically. If a long-term financial situation is reached and infrastructure improvements are made, I believe we will be able to attract new permanent residents to Morris County.

I encourage your board to support the Master Plan and establish a goal of recruiting 50 new families over the next five years at the City Lake Park. Let me offer my assistance to you and the board in developing a marketing plan and strategies for such a recruitment effort. I believe the economic activity generated by 50 new families could truly be enormous. Please share this letter with your board and again thank you for allowing me time to talk about our plan.

Sincerely,

Curt Brungardt
